Is there any more popular Russian classic comedy play than Gogol’s «Marriage»? Maybe just «The Government Inspect» by the same author. These drama pieces are always popular among directors and actors as well as among the audience, what is oftentimes has been proved on the stage since 1842.
Together with the brilliant actors, Yury Butusov has created a wrenching story about loneliness, search for happiness and unreachable dreams. And the mysterious restless city of Saint Petersburg becomes one of the protagonists of the play.
