Description of the concert

Unique project of the Festival, with will combine 3 orchestra: Stat Symphony orchestra «Novaya Rossiya», Ensemble of folk instruments «Rossiya» and Orchestra of folk instruments «Terema», outstanding soloists and world premiere.
In the gala-concert will take part major representatives of performance school of folk instruments: laureate of nine international competition Dmitriy Dmotrienko; an outstanding Russian domra player, People’s Artist of Russia Alexander Tsygankov; balalaika player, People’s Artist of Russia Valery Zazhigin; cymbalist from Belarussia Veronika Praded; virtuoso-performer on balalaika-bass Mikhail Dzyude.

The East Asian traditions are represented by the fooling instruments – Kobyz (Aziza Beisengulova). The unique sound of duduk will be demonstrated by Vartan Harutyunyan; and finally, Buryat throat singing «morin huur» will be performed by Batuurgh Vanchidoj

In addition of musicians in this concert will take part popular actor Sergei Garmash.

Yuri Bashmet will take part in the concert and as a soloist and as a conductor.

A huge event of the future concert will be the world premiere new work by Aleksander Tchaikovsky «The Lay of Igor’s Host». This composition was written specially for Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi.
